Judith van Stegeren

Co-Founder & CEO

Judith van Stegeren is a researcher, engineer and consultant. She loves both applied AI research and business, a rare combination which led to the start of Datakami. Judith holds a PhD in computer science from the University of Twente, where she studied text generation in the early days of LLMs. Now she helps companies with integrating cutting-edge research into their products.

Yorick van Pelt

Co-Founder & Software Engineer

Yorick van Pelt has been a software consultant for most of his career, initially focussing on the use of functional programming principles to build, maintain and deploy reliable software. After years of being fascinated with AI and LLMs, and several finished ML projects, he co-founded Datakami to finally dive into the AI landscape and help customers research and build using the latest innovations in the field.

Having been a devops team lead and an instrumental part of an engineering team, Yorick's not just a software expert but also a pro at leading and project management. In a previous employment, he cut product costs by 50% twice, first using AI, then through a custom electronics design.

In his role at Datakami, Yorick likes working at the forefront of the field in LLMs and generative AI. He's driven by the creation of impactful solutions for clients and the opportunity to make a real-world difference with every project, but he always makes time to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.
